Think about the pleasure you will be getting when someone whom you never know reads the content you have written with your greatest efforts and ideas, you can get fans and new friends, you will get comments from some of the critics and if you excel and get a good page rank, you will be getting thousands of visitors daily. It is then really that you will reach a position when you will realize that you are writing for others and how your content reaches to the common people and you will of course get to what kind of people visit your blog and what do they really expect.

Keep waiting for the day when money is going to get flowing like water in you hands from a water fall and your blog is going to become a money making machine and that day is not too far. Might be after a moth or three months, keep working till then with your fullest effort and just don't go away which means you are not fit for this job. Remember anyone can do this.
